Don't Burn The Flag...Wear Flag Underwear Instead

O, Congress. Why do we bother with you? Why do you spend valuable time trying to reduce our freedoms in the name of upcoming elections?

You debate a flag burning amendment. So, I can't protest what a crappy job you're doing by burning a flag. But, speaking of crappy, I think I can buy USA Flag underwear and put all the skid marks in it that I can. So, I can soil a flag with human waste- basically- but I can't burn a flag.

Unless, of course, I want to dispose of it. Then burning is the proper way to do that.

Let's see. If I burn it in protest, that's wrong. If I burn it to dispose of it, that's right. What if I'm protesting disposing of a flag? Then what should I do? I know two wrongs don't make a right. And two rights don't make a wrong. But, what does a wrong and a right make? A flag burning, I guess- both times.

O, Congress. Please, please, please retire. Stop staying around too long. Let some fresh blood in. A career politician is an oxymoron, an insult to the votes and disgusting.
