Working in Virginia

I'm working on my uncle's house in Virginia now. It's a 30 year old house and he's done no maintenance on it over the years, so it needs a lot of help. There's termite and water damage that we're taking care of.

Then we're (my Uncle Paul and me) covering it in Tyvek, blue board then vinyl siding with insulation attached. All the damage should be correceted and the house should be buttoned up as tightly as can be.

While I'm here I should be looking for a job. I've updated my resume, but I can't find the motivation to start looking for a job. I thought I'd check in NYC because I'm sort of dating someone there, but I realize now that I don't want to move back there. I've done New York and every time I visit, I realize that I'm glad to be out of there. So what should I do?

I'm hoping for motivation, inspiration....something...anything.
